Theme: Prayer and Fasting Empowers Fulfillment of Prophecy – 1Tim 1:18
INTRODUCTION FOR WEEK 1 (6 – 11th January, 2014)
Exceeding Grace connotes Exceeding Favour which in turn implies a Supernatural Turnaround, that is, operating in the realms of strange works and strange acts of God after the order of Joseph – Gen. 39:5/21
According to the prophetic agenda for us in the Winners’ Family, the year 2014 shall be:
· A year of Divine Surprises – Gen. 21:1-6
· A Surprise order of Breakthroughs – Gen. 26:12-14
· A Surprise order of Turnarounds – Psa. 126:1-6
· A Surprise order of Financial Fortune – Exo. 12:36
· A Surprise order of Favours – Esther 5:2 / 7:1-10; Neh. 2:5-8
· It shall be said of every winner, ‘What manner of man / woman is this?’ – Luke 8:35; Mark 4:41
· It shall be said of our strides, “We have seen strange things today” – Luke 5:26
· It shall be said of our exploits, ‘We have not seen it in this fashion’ – Mark 2:12.
· It shall be a year of strange works and strange acts of God indeed – Is. 28:21-22
· Every Winner shall become a surprise both to himself and the world around him in the year 2014.
Day 1-Monday, 6th January, 2014
EVERY PROPHECY IS A SWORN VERDICT
Isa 14:24, 26-27
24 The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand:
26 This is the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth; and this is the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations.
27 For the Lord of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it? And his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back? (See also Nu.23:19, Tit.1:2)

NOTHING MAKES GREAT LIKE GRACE
Joh 3:27
27. John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.

GRACE DEMANDS RIGHTEOUSNESS
Rom 6:1
“What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?”

ESTHER PRAYED AND FASTED HER WAY INTO FAVOUR
Esther 4:16-17/5:6
16 Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.
Est 5:6 And the king said unto Esther at the banquet of wine, What is thy petition? and it shall be granted thee: and what is thy request? even to the half of the kingdom it shall be performed.

NEHEMIAH FASTED HIS WAY TO SUPERNATURAL TURNAROUNDS
Neh 1:4/2:8
Neh 1:4 - And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven,
Neh 2:8 And a letter unto Asaph the keeper of the king's forest, that he may give me timber to make beams for the gates of the palace which appertained to the house, and for the wall of the city, and for the house that I shall enter into. And the king granted me, according to the good hand of my God upon me.
INTRODUCTION FOR WEEK 2 (13 – 18th January, 2014)
· Our God is a God of times and seasons – Eccl. 3:1/11
· We must be sensitive to our time of visitation lest we disappoint destiny – Luke 19:41-44
· The year 2014 is “God’s Set Time” to usher us both as a commission and as individuals into realms of Exceeding Favours – Gen. 18:10 / 21:1-2 / Psa. 102:13-15
· Esther prayed and fasted her way into favour with God and before the king –Esth4:16-18/5:1-2/7:1-10
· Nehemiah also prayed and fasted his way to favour both with God and man – Neh. 2:5-9
· This is what we are set to do this month, to pray and fast our way into favour with God and man as the saints before us did and we are sure to come forth with same order of testimonies.

WHAT WE BELIEVE IS WHAT GOD PERFORMS
Lk.1:37-38,45
37 For with God nothing shall be impossible
38 And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her
45 And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord. (See also Is.53:1; Heb.4:2)
Day 9- Tuesday, 14th January, 2014
THE APOSTLES PRAYED THEIR WAY TO GREAT GRACE
Act 4:30-33
vs30 By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.
vs:31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.
vs32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.
vs33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. (See also Heb 4:16)

THE ALTAR OF PRAYER IS THE THRONE OF GRACE
Act.4:23,31,33
23 And being let go, they went to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said unto them.
31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.
33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE IS KEY TO FULFILLMENT OF PROPHESY
1Timothy 1:18
“ This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare”

COMBATING THE OPPOSITIONS IN BATTLE
Deut.2:24
24 Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, King of Heshbon, and his land, begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle (See also 1 Cor.16:9; Eph 4:27/1Pet 5:8-9)

SOME DIMENSIONS OF GRACE IN SCRIPTURES
§ Grace (Titus 2:11/ Jude 3)
§ Great Grace (Acts 4:33)
§ Multiplied Grace (2Peter 1:2)
§ Exceeding Grace (2Cor. 9:14-15 / Eph. 2:7)
Every provision of redemption is inexhaustible, the grace of God inclusive (Rom. 11:33).
Therefore, there is no finish line in the race of grace, we only make progress.
Every one of us must pray his way to experience higher dimensions of grace during this prayer and fasting season.
Day 15 - Monday, 20th January, 2014
BEWARE OF MOCKING THE PROPHETIC
Is.28:21-22
21 For the Lord shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act.
22 Now therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the Lord GOD of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth.

WHATEVER WE ASK IN THE NAME OF JESUS IS GUARANTEED
John 14:13-14
vs 13- And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
vs 14- If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

GRACE EXPLODES WITH LABOUR

GOD ANSWERS PRAYERS
PS.65:1,2
1 Praise waiteth for thee, O God in Sion: and unto thee shall the vow be performed.
2 O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come. (See also 1 Jh.5:14; Jh.11:41)
Note:
1) Satellite fellowship shall also hold every Saturday where we shall also break the fast with communion.
2) There shall be a special breakthrough service every Friday except where otherwise stated..
Jesus is Lord!
