UNVEILING THE WONDERS OF PRAISE (PART 2) – Bishop David O. Oyedepo

Someone may be bothered why are we constantly emphasizing, Signs and Wonders.

Signs and Wonders are our natural lifestyle in the kingdom - Isaiah 8:18

Signs and Wonders is our spiritual food!

What food is to the natural man, is what Signs and Wonders is to the believer!

The Supernatural is what gives colour to your identity as a believer!

Signs and Wonders is what gives credibility to your redemption!

Signs and Wonders is what gives credibility to my redemption!

If you want to flow in the miraculous, then be addicted to seeking GOD and the interest of His kingdom!

He said, 'Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness' ... and all these things that others are dying for, 'shall be added unto you' - Matthew 6:33

Every addicted GOD seeker, becomes a commander of signs and wonders!

'These signs shall follow them that believe '... So, signs are to follow us, when we get properly on key, with following GOD!

- Bishop David O. Oyedepo

EXPERIENCING THE WONDERS OF SETTLEMENT! - FAITH TABERNACLE, CANAANLAND – SIGNS AND WONDERS TODAY, JUNE 15TH, 2014

EXPERIENCING
THE WONDERS
OF SETTLEMENT!
BY DAVID O. OYEDEPO

And the God of all grace, who hath called us into his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strenghten, settle you (1 Peter 5:10).

Encounter with the Word is the master key to a world of all-round settlement. From scriptures, we understand that until Joseph’s word came, the Word of the Lord tried him. But after his word came,
the king sent for him, loosed and settled him in a grand style. We also saw how God sent His Word into Jacob, bringing him out of every ordeal of life. It is also said that God sent His Word, settled their health issues and delivered them from all destructions. That is, all unsettled areas of their lives (Psalm 105:19-22, Isaiah 9:8, Psalm 107:20).

In continuation of our teaching series, 'Experiencing the Wonders in Word', this week, we shall examine the topic: 'Experiencing the Wonders of Settlement in the Word.'
Every child of God is ordained for settlement. It is written: The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10).

Jesus came to offer us life at its best. That is, pressure-free, anguish-free and distress-free life. In the light of this, no child of God is permitted to live under pressure, at least not beyond a while, because every issue of long continuance is a curse. As it is written: Then the Lord will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance. But thank God Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, which includes that of any long continuance (Deuteronomy 28:58-S9,Galatians3:13·14).

From the above scripture, any issue beyond a moment is anti-covenant; It Is not permitted and must be resisted. As it is written: For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. (2 Corinthians 4:17)

Therefore, any issue beyond a while or moment in anyone's life must be completely rooted out as we go through this message!

But, What is a While or a Moment?

A moment connotes 'Now': As it is written:

For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. (2 Corinthians 6:2)

It also connotes 'Today': As stated above, “… Behold, now is the day of salvation" (2 Corinthians 6:2). Furthermore, the Word says: Turn you to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even today do I declare that I will render double unto thee (Zechariah 9:12).

•  Overnight: It is written: For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning (Psalm 30:5).
This signifies an overnight settlement.
Three days: It is written in Hosea 6:2: After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.

Therefore, in the name of Jesus Christ, no one's settlement shall exceed three days as Jesus said, speaking about His death and resurrection,   "Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” (John 2:19).

In the light of these, we must understand that settlement can only be encountered through the Word of God. When God settles us by His Word, no devil can unsettle us. May everyone be positioned for supernatural   settlement this day!

There is a Covenant Way Out
We must recognize that we serve a covenant-keeping God. My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips (Psalm 89:34).

But, What is a Covenant?
In our context, a covenant can be defined as fulfilling the conditions attached to any promise of scriptures, so we can have them fulfilled in our lives. Any time we fulfil the conditions attached to any promise, God’s integrity is committed to perform.

It is important for us to recognize that the Bible is not a Book of promises; it is a Book of covenant. That’s why it is called the Old and New Testament. Note that Testament also means Covenant. The Bible is full of provisions and conditions. When we fulfill the conditions, we have committed God’s integrity to release the provisions.

That is why Christianity is a faith of responsibility. Every provision places a demand on us to access them. Nothing of value is ever free. Our access to every provision of redemption places definite demands on us. As it is written, ‘Whatever He tells us to do, do it.’ There is always what to do to get what we want. For instance, salvation is free, but it takes our repentance to access it. There is no provision of the Kingdom without conditions attached.

For instance, looking at the subject of settlement, the Bible says: Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light (Matthew 11:28-30).

There is what to learn and know, to enter into His rest. As it is written: The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace (Isaiah 59:8).

From the above scriptures, there is the way of peace that we must learn, before we can be established with His peace. We must bear the yoke of learning, by loving the Word of God, in turns settles us. We cannot be settled without learning what it takes to be settled (Psalm 119:165).

What, then, are the Covenant Requirements for our settlement?

- Be Born-again: Only those who have answered the call of salvation are candidates for settlement. We cannot be settled until we are saved, because settlement is God’s provision for the redeemed (1 Peter 5:10).

Understand that peace is one of the fruits of the Spirit. When we are saved, the Prince of Peace comes into our hearts, establishes His throne of peace, and we enjoy peace that passes all knowledge (Galatians 5:22, Isaiah 9:6, Philippians 4:7).

We must also know that unsettlement is part of the curses of the law, but Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law. Redemption is what rescues us from the curse of distress. Therefore, until we are redeemed, we are not candidates for His settlement (Deuteronomy 28:14-16, 53-57; Galatians 3:13-14).

- Go after the Word: Peace multiples by knowledge. As it is written: Grace and peace be multiplied  unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord. It is also written that Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them (2 Peter 1:2, Psalm 119:165).

It is great peace that keeps us in command and at rest in the midst of challenges. The battle of unsettlement is a battle with the power of darkness. Therefore we must engage the armour of light (the Word) to disarm the forces of darkness and that light shines in darkness and darkness comprehend it not (Romans 13:12, John 1:5)

- Be Planted in the House of the Lord: If you want to be settled by God, be planted in His house. The Psalmist said: Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing; To shew that the Lord is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him (Psalm  92:13-15).
Why must we be planted In His house? The Bible says: In His presence is fullness of joy and at His right hand, there are pleasures evermore. We must be addicts of God's house as David the Psalmist said, “I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord.". This must be why he never lost any battle. May the last battle you lost be the last you will ever lose in your life! (Psalm
16:11, Psalm 122:1).

Furthermore, the Bible says: For the Lord hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation. This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it. I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread. I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy (Psalm 132:13-16).

Zion in the Old Testament means the Church of Christ. Therefore, we must not be mere visitors to His house, but become established members of God's family, and then we can begin to experience His amazing provision of settlement.

Again, we understand tat the house of God is the mountain of illumination, because the more insightful we are, the more peaceful, restful and settled we become  (Psalm 73:17, 2 Peter 1:2).This is why mount Zion is the mountain of deliverance where God's people possess their possessions (Obadiah 17). As we appear in Zion, every form of unsettlement gets destroyed. Remember, when the prodigal son was in his father's house, he was a settled man; he had dignity. But when he wandered away, he suffered ignominy and shame. We must not allow any devil or situation to draw us away from the House of God.  Otherwise, we might remain in captivity and distress.
As it is written: Moreover I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own, and move no more; neither shall the children of wickedness afflict them any more, as beforetime (2 Samuel 7:10).

Zion is God's appointed place for our settlement.

- Make a Choice to Serve God: Serving God is not a calling or a gift; it is a choice. Joshua said, If it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

When Israel chose to serve Gad, He also vowed to settle them. In six separate scriptures, God demanded for the deliverance and settlement of His people from Egypt. based on their commitment to serve Him. The same God said, "I am the Lord, I change not" (Malachi 3:6).

When we choose to serve God, in response, God vows to settle us. As it is written: And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the Lord, Israel is my son, even my firstborn (Exodus 4:22-23; See also Exodus 7:16, Exodus 8:1,  Exodus 9:1, 13; Exodus 10:3).

Remember. one does not have to be a pastor to be called a servant of God. A servant is anyone that serves the interest of another. For instance, Abraham was called a servant of God and he was a businessman. Daniel was also a servant of God, but he was a politician. Therefore, serving God's Interest is what makes a servant  of  God,  not the title we bear. When we make a commitment to serve God, we have committed Him to settle us in a grand style. This is your time of settlement.

Furthermore, when Israel under king Asa entered into a covenant to serve God, God gave them rest roundabout and there was no more war in the land (2 Chronicles 15:3-5;12-15;19).

Therefore, it is not enough to make a choice, it is important to upgrade our choice to a covenant as Paul the Apostle said, “For me to live is Christ and to die is gain” (Philippians 1:21). Making a covenant to serve God is the gateway to a world of settlement and all-round rest. May this message bring an end to all of life crises, ordeals and distresses as we enter into a covenant to serve this true God, the father of our Lord Jesus Christ from today. Therefore, be settled in the name of Jesus!

Remain ever blessed!

AMAZING TESTIMONIES!

Divine Promotion

”On May 16,2014, I was challenged by a boss who held the third position In my office . He said, 'What has Olaseinde Toyin contributed to this office to have deserved the best officer for the year?'  He further disagreed with that decision.
Immediately, I said in my mind, 'God, prove Yourself!' On May 27, that boss was embarrassed in the presence of all junior officers and the Second-in-Command of the state, who immediately ordered for his demotion. On June 3,he was replaced.
Two hours after his replacement, another boss of mine was called and asked, 'How many officers do you have in your office?' He mentioned some names and immediately, the caller said, 'Who is Olaseinde Toyin? Give  her  a letter right now to head the unit!'. I give all the glory to the God of strange works! Praise the Lord!” -- Olaseinde Toyin

Divine Health!

"I used to be sick and my body was like a best friend to sickness. Every year, in June, the sickness was always intense.
In  2006, I was seriously sick and was admitted in the hospital. When I was discharged, I visited the hospital and the doctors felt sorry for me; I was angry in my spirit.

When I got home, I sought for solution. I read several books, among which were the Bishop's books, In one of the books, I discovered that my body is the temple of the lord. So I said, 'If my body is the temple of the lord, then I don't want sickness again.' I further discovered that there are certain things in the body of Christ and sickness is not part of them.

To the glory of God, since that time till now, I know no doctor or drugs. I'm healed and perfectly whole. I give all the glory to the Name of the Lord!" -- Seyi Michael

Dead Raised to Life!

"0n April 29, 2014, I went to buy something. while my four daughters played in the living room. When I returned, I saw my neighbour carrying one of my daughters and she was lifeless. I was told that she was electrocuted. I didn't know what to do because her entire  body was swollen.

I carried her and began to pray; I spoke in tongues and called on the God of Bishop Oyedepo for intervention. I also pleaded the Blood of Jesus and prophesied repeatedly that she would not die. For two hours, she was lifeless; but as I prophesied, the God of Oyedepo intervened. Suddenly, she sneezed and came back to life.

Thereafter, she was taken to the hospital. The doctors asked if she was actually electrocuted. They stated that it was impossible for someone to survive such severity of injury from an electrocution. So I said, 'The God of Oyedepo did it!'

Also, in March 2014, she had high temperature and became lifeless for three hours.I put my hand in her mouth because it was about to dose. Then I said, 'As as the Bishop and this Commission  are alive, she will live.'  I also  prayed and declared that she would not die.

To the glory of God, she jerked back to life! I give God all the glory for all He did in my daughter's life." -- Chioma John Ekwo

Delivered from Armed Robbers!

"Last Monday, I was attacked by a gang of armed robbers in front of my house. They rounded me up, took me into the car and drove away. Then, I remembered that the Name of the Lord is a strong tower and the righteous run into it and are safe. So, I kept screaming the Name of Jesus Christ. By the mercy of God, they dropped me very close to a bush at Iyana-Iba around 10.00pm. That was how I returned home.

On Wednesday, I came to Canaanland to see the Bishop for a prophetic verdict. With holy anger, he stood and decreed, 'Jesus prove that You sent me and prove that your son serves You.'

That same night, I received a call that a lady said she found my belongings, documents and Bible somewhere close to her house.

When we got there the next day, we discovered that the lady was the wife of one of the armed robbers. She said that since that Wednesday night she has been uncomfortable and it was like a coal of fire was put on her head.

Then, we called the police; they recovered guns and all the members of the gang were arrested. To the glory of God,the car was recovered. I give God all the glory!" -- Dcn. Zachaeus Lawal

Miracle Job via Sacrifice!

"By the leading of the Holy Spirit in 2013, the Bishop told us to give a sacrifice of settlement. Then, I just completed my National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in June. So, I withdrew all I saved during my service year and tagged it, 'Sacrifice of settlement for my miracle job.'

That same week, I read the Double Portion prayer guideline and God gave me a word in Matthew 20:1-16. I warred with that scripture and enforced my settlement.

To the glory of God, within 10 days of giving that sacrifice, I was invited for an aptitude test and also shortlisted for an oral interview. During the interview, God favoured me as the woman who led tile panel said repeatedly, 'She is a professional,' though I had no work experience apart from NYSC.

I was the last person interviewed but God favoured me and gave me the miracle job, which I resumed in October 2013. Indeed, God is faithful!" -- Adebiyi Oyeyemi

Marital Settlement!

" During the Covenant Day of Settlement in August 2013, I served at glory gallery. As I resumed at my service point, I received a message from the  man I was in a relationship with, that he was no longer interested. I  said, 'God, why  should I experience this today that I desire to be settled.' I cried all through the services and told God that He must settle me that day.

Thereafter, I increased mv service to God both in Church and at the Winners' Satellite Fellowship (WSF). That same month, I met my husband. In fact, he didn't seem like he was the one, so I ignored him. By divine orchestration, God perfected everything about our wedding by December 2013. Presently, we are married to the glory of God!" -- Iluobeh  Patience

Miracle Marriage & Safe Delivery!

"In 2011, I attended one of the Miracle Marriage Services. During the service, the Bishop said, 'One person just needs thanksgiving for his testimony to be perfected!' I said, 'Father, that is me!'. When I got home that day, I gave God thanks 3,000 times.

In 2012, I met my husband. Meanwhile, during the Miracle Marriage Service, the Bishop told us to write the date we desired to be wedded. So, I wrote May 18. To the glory of God, I got wedded on May 18, 2013.

Thereafter, I told God that I desired to be pregnant in the second month of our marriage and He did it. When the pregnancy was four months old, the devil said,'Let me see how you will deliver this baby.' I said, 'If truly Pastor (Mrs) Faith Oyedepo delivered successfully, mine too will be successful.' To the glory of God, I delivered safely and my baby's names are Isaac, Tochukwu,  Oluwanifemi,  Exceeding Grace.
Also, my sister got married and my brother's wife delivered safely. I give God all the glory!" -- Onyedikachi Rejoice

Marital Breakthrough!

" Since 2007, I had a challenge of getting married because all the relationships I had were unsuccessful. In June 2013, I proposed to a lady and she accepted. We attended Shiloh 2013 together and bought the messages of that event.

While listening to one of the messages, we heard the testimony of a lady who believed God for marital breakthrough for several years and eventually got married by divine intervention. We keyed into that and believed God for same.

In February 2014, we had our introduction and in March, the date for the wedding was fixed. To the glory of God, on May 31,2014, we got wedded. Praise the Lord!" -- Dayo Job (LFC Zaria)

EXPERIENCING THE WONDERS IN THE WORD! - FAITH TABERNACLE, CANAANLAND – SIGNS AND WONDERS TODAY, JUNE 8TH, 2014

EXPERIENCING
THE WONDERS
IN THE WORD!
BY DAVID O. OYEDEPO

Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law - Psalm 119:18

From  the  above  scripture,  we understand that God's Word is loaded with wonders, but until our  eyes are opened, we cannot access them. The encounters of  the two disciples with Christ after His resurrection unveil this mystery.
As it is written: "Then opened He their understanding that they might understand the scriptures"
(Luke 24:45).

Again, it is written, "Arise and shine, because your light has come." The effect of that light is what empowers us to outshine those around us, so that kings begin to come to the brightness of our rising. This is because revelation has the power to change the story of any man supernaturally - Isaiah 60:1- 3/8/22.

Furthermore, the Bible says,

"For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease. Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the stock thereof die in the ground; Yet through the scent of water it will bud,  and  bring forth   boughs  like  a plant" - Job 14:7-9. (See also: Isaiah 55:1/11 /Ephesians5:26)

From here, we understand that every encounter with the Word springs up a new beginning. Therefore, whatever our experiences may have been hitherto, in this great month of June, everything dying around us will suddenly bounce back to life in the name of Jesus Christ!

In the light of the above, our teaching series for the month is captioned, "Experiencing the Wonders in the Word!"

First, we must recognise that God's Word is pregnant with wonders and this is why all miracle, signs and wonders are direct confirmations of the Word-Mark 16:20

But what does it take to Access the Wonders in the Word?
One must be born again: Wonders here connote mysteries. But mysteries are  God's  secrets behind  biblical stories. Everyone can understand the stories  of  scriptures  but  only  the redeemed can access the mysteries thereof. The stories are made up of letters but the mysteries are made up of spirit and life-Mark4:11/John 6:63.

We must be filled  with the Holy Ghost: The Holy Ghost is our access to the mysteries in the Word and we are limited in access without Him. The Holy Spirit brings us into realms of unlimited access to the deep things of God-John 16:12-13/ John 14:26/ 1Corinthians 2:10.

We must be Spiritual: It is one thing to be filled with the Holy Ghost but it is yet another to be spiritual. We can be filled with the Holy Spirit and still be carnal. For instance, the Corinthians church was not behind on the gifts of the spirit yet they were carnal. It is therefore important to be spiritual because a natural man cannot understand the things of God, for they are foolishness unto him; neither can he know them because they are spiritually discerned. The more spiritual we are, the greater our access to the deep things of God - 1Corinthians 1:7/ 1Corinthians 3:1-3/ 1Corinthians 2:14.

We must walk in the Spirit: It is written, "I was in the spirit on the Lord's Day and I heard ...." It takes a man of the spirit to hear from heaven. It is not enough to be born-again, filled with the Holy Spirit and be spiritual, we must be men and women that walk in the spirit, this is because God can choose to speak to us at any time. If we are not in the spirit, we are sure to miss His directives and thereby continue with our struggles in life. Therefore, we must mind the associations we keep, because carnal men are sure to corrupt our spirituality - Revelation 1:10/ Romans 8:6/1Corinthians 15:23.

We must desire more Revelation: More often than not, when things are not working, it is because our insight is inadequate. As we are all aware, we don't fail exams because we don't know anything; we fail because we don't know enough. However, we know that God hates waste and that is why He only unveils treasures to those who are truly thirsty for revelation. As it is written, "I will pour water upon him that is thirsty and floods upon the dry land." Revelation answers only to the thirsty; it is therefore our crave to know that opens the doorway to revelation - Isaiah 44:3/ 1Corinthians8:2.

We must locate our God-sent 'Philips': There are men and women sent our way to provide us with access into the deep things of God. For instance, the Holy Ghost instructed Philip to join the chariot of the Ethiopian Eunuch in order to open up his spiritual understanding. In the same vein, there are individuals appointed to teach and pastor us, and we are sure to be limited in revelations until we find them and engage to maximize all the revelations they bear. But we should not only receive what they teach, we must also study their lifestyle and see how they apply the things they teach. This is why the Bible admonishes that: "We must not be slothful in business but followers of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises" - Acts 8:28-36/ Jeremiah 3:15-16/ Isaiah 30:20-21/ Hebrews 6:12.

We must engage in the study of the Word: We must get addicted to the study of the Word and make it our lifestyle by feeding on the Word daily in order to stay alive and well. The Bible admonishes that we meditate on the Word day and night; then, we will make our way prosperous and have good success - 2Timothy 2:15/ Jeremiah 15:16/Joshua 1:8.

We must engage our spirit in the search: Man is a three-in-one being: he is a spirit; he has a soul and lives in a body. The soul of man comprises his mind, which includes his intellect, his will and emotions. But our intellect is limited in capacity, because it cannot comprehend the things of God. It is only by our spirit that we can access the deep things of God. This is because, "God is a Spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth." It is also humbling to note that most of the channels through which the scriptures were delivered, were largely ignorant and unlearned men. God simply poured out His plan and purpose for mankind through these 'ordinary' vessels. Therefore, it is by engaging our spirit in the search that we can access the deep things of God. Remember, the spirit of the man is the candle of the Lord that searches the inward parts of God's belly. We must lit this candle and engage same in order to access the deep things of God - Isaiah 26:9/ Proverbs 20:27/Luke 15:7-8/ 1Thessalonians5:23/ John 4:24.

We must engage in the Art of Meditation: We need meditation to access the mysteries in the Word.  As it is written, "Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom". We need to separate ourselves and ponder on the Word, so we can access the mysteries in the Word. For example, the prodigal son meditated his way back to dignity. David also meditated his way into deep understanding. Furthermore, the Word admonishes that; 'we give attendance to reading, to exhortation and to doctrine; and to meditate upon these things; given ourselves wholly to the findings that we make; so that our profiting may appear to world" - Proverbs 18:1/ Luke 15: 14- 20/ Psalm 119:97-100/ 1Timothy 4:13/15.

Wonders in the Word of God

There is the account of the Centurion who came to Jesus saying; 'I am not worthy for you to come to my house, just speak the Word ONLY and my servant shall be healed', and as the Word went forth; his servant was healed the selfsame hour. This validates the fact that God's Word is truly pregnant with wonders - Matthew 8:8/10-13.

Let us now examine some wonders in the Word:

The Word of God is the carrier of the Power of God: God's Word carries the Spirit of Power; therefore, when we
receive and believe the revealed Word, we are empowered to become what the Word says - Romans 1:16/
John 1:12/Job22:21-27.

The  Word  of  God  opens  new chapters to our Destiny: The Word opens our lives to new levels, as in the case of Joseph when his word came, a new chapter was opened to him. The Word  has  power to  spark  up a  new beginning in our lives, no matter how uncertain or unthinkable it may appear. Therefore,    we     must    all    expect encounters with the Word this month and new chapters opening up to every one of us-Psalm 105:17-22/Job 14:7-9.

Supernatural  Victory:  When  we are  armed  with  what  is  written,  we supernaturally  gain  command  of  the happenings around us. This is because the Word of God is the sword of the Spirit;  and   no   force   in   hell   can withstand  His authority.  For instance, when  Satan tempted Jesus,  He fired back saying, "It is written" first, second and third time after which satan gave up. Supernatural victory is domiciled in the Word because God still upholds all things by the power of His Word till now - Ephesians 6:17/Mathew 4:1-14/ Hebrews 1:3/ Matthew 21:44.

Supernatural Breakthrough: This is provoked by applied revelation. When we encounter the light of the Word, and walk in the same, we supernaturally dominate the powers of darkness which culminates in our supernatural breakthrough.
When we put on the armour of light, we become the envy of the world around us as His glory continues to distinguish us empowering us for a colourful flight, turning a little one among us to a thousand and a small one, a strong nation. It is interesting to know that everything we need is in the Bible; what we lack is the commitment to search them out - Isaiah 60:1-22/ Matthew 21:24/ Jeremiah 23:29/ 1John 1:1-5/9.

Signs & Wonders: From the mystery of creation, we understand that God's Word truly creates solutions supernaturally. This is why signs and wonders is all about creating supernatural solutions to the bugging questions of life - Genesis 1:1-3/ Mark 16:20/Acts 14:3.

Jesus is Lord!

AMAZING TESTIMONIES!

Multiple Testimonies!
"During the 33'd Anniversary celebration of this Commission, I thanked God for 11 years of committed followership of the Mandate. Within those years, I stopped being a fan or a worker in church, and became a committed and an addicted follower. Through those years, my life has never
been the same.

When I joined this Commission, I had nothing to boast of. Now, I own properties and assets that I could only dream of back then. God has blessed me materially, financially, family-wise and in every aspect of my life.

The most striking of these blessings is that I used to be very sickly before I joined this Commission, but since I joined, I have never been ill or taken any drug. I give glory to God for making my life a practical expression of the validity of the Mandate!" ---Pst. David Okoye

Ectopic Pregnancy Miraculously Sustained!
"Few weeks after the conception of our son, we went for a foetal condition test. After the test, the doctor said, 'Sir, you look like a church going person, but this is not a church matter; we need to evacuate this baby immediately.' I asked, 'Why?' He said it was an ectopic pregnancy (the baby is in the stomach instead of the womb) and it could kill the mother.

Then, I remembered the Bishop's testimony of when he returned from a trip and his wife said she had miscarriage and He immediately said,

'It cannot happen! Can I have my food please?' So, I said, 'No! My wife cannot have ectopic pregnancy!'

The doctors gathered and said, 'What is this man talking about?' I beckoned on my wife, but the doctors insisted that I signed a medical document indicating that I took death into my hands, because the condition could kill both the baby and mother, within 24 hours. I signed the document in faith that neither of them would die.

By the Spirit of faith, nine months after, ectopic pregnancy became a bouncing baby   boy!   I give  glory  to   God!"

N36 million Debt Paid without Bribe!
"At the beginning of the year, the Bishop declared that it shall be a year of divine surprises. I believed that word and re-committed myself to obeying instructions from this altar.
There was a particular State Government in Nigeria that bought salted products worth N36 million from my company, but refused to pay. For over a year, I tried to get the money but to no avail. The government officials told us to give them 10% of the money they owed us as bribe, before they made the payment. Everyone said it was impossible to collect our money without giving bribe, but I said to myself, 'If the Bishop was in this situation, he would not give bribe and his money would definitely be paid.'

Earlier this year, in one of the Business and Career Breakthrough Services, the Bishop shared with us from Psalm 34 verse 5: 'They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.' He further said, 'Anytime, you are looking unto man, never claim to be looking unto God.' I studied and prayed with that scripture until it became so real to me.

Last month, I received a call from an aide to the governor of that state, who I had never met before. He said he heard about the money they owed us and that he had taken the matter to the Governor personally. He was very apologetic and called back instructing that I resend the account details.

Miraculously, few days later, the N36 million, which they owed for more than a year, was paid without  bribe. I give God all the glory!"---Bukunmi, 0.

Financial Restoration!
"In April 2013, during the Resurrection Power Service, the Bishop preached passionately on consistent tithing. He concluded the sermon saying, 'Inconsistent tithing may lead to indebtedness.' That word hit me because I had stopped paying tithe and started borrowing  and purchasing items on credit.

Towards  the  end  of  May,  I  started tithing again. During one of the services in July, the Bishop  prophesied,  'This month, you  will  change  levels  by all means!' In concluding that sermon he said, 'Pray fervently and be specific for that which you want God to do for you and  you   will   receive   it.'  After   the prayers, he said, 'After three days, you will hear good news!'

On Wednesday, when I got home, a friend visited and said, 'Brother, did you hear that the money that was not paid to us since 2007 would be paid this month?', I said, 'Yes! That was the prophetic word of the Bishop upon my life!' Lo and behold, on August 10, when I checked my account balance, I was surprised because I was highly elevated financially. I give glory to God!"---Effiong Akpan

Eight-year Barrenness Destroyed!
"In 2005, we got married and since then, we believed God for the fruit of the womb. A friend of mine, who is a barrister and attends this Church, invited me to Shiloh 2012. I told my husband,   who   is  a   busy   person  to accompany me and he agreed.

During the Mothers and Fathers of Nations Session, I was privilege to be prayed for by Pastor (Mrs.) Faith Oyedepo. She shared a testimony of a woman that gave birth at the age of 53. That testimony hit me and I keyed into it. I said, 'Father, I am still young; You are going to bless me,' and He did.

That year, the Lord changed our situation and we truly became father and mother of a nation.  Praise the Lord!"

Delivered from Occult’s Den!
"Last Sunday, after the Third Service, I received a call from my friend that my roommate had died in an accident. This was someone I saw the previous night at 10.00 p.m. Unknown to me, my boss was the master mind.

On Tuesday night, when I got in bed, I realized that it was wet. I asked the lady who slept beside me why my side of the bed was wet, but there was no logical explanation.

Later, she suggested that it was the fear of my friend that passed on that affected me and that I should go to bed, but I insisted that something was wrong. I got off the bed,   partook of the Communion, sprinkled the Blood of Jesus and took the 30th anniversary mantle. I struck the four corners of the room with it.

Suddenly, the Holy Spirit said, 'Go downstairs.' When I got there, I discovered that  everyone  who stayed  in that  lodge  belonged  to the occult. They were all dressed in red and black tops. I sprinkled the Blood again and called on the God of Oyedepo, Adeboye and Abioye to rescue  and avenge me, because the Bishop prophesied that we would testify the following service.

Shortly after, my boss instructed that the Mantle, Communion and Anointing Oil that I had with me be taken away, before he could touch me. I was forced into a car and taken to an occult gathering. They were chanting incantations on me with candles and all manner of oils, but the God of Oyedepo avenged me and I was released. Thereafter, I was taken to a psychiatric hospital for treatment, but someone brought me to Canaanland. Today, I am hale and hearty. I give glory to God!" ---Justina Ogalar

Insanity Destroyed!
"During last Saturday's outreach, I met a young man who was insane for many years. His family members abandoned him and left the vicinity. During the outreach, the Holy Spirit directed me to deliver him from the spirit of insanity.

The instruction was so shocking, but I obeyed and the Holy Spirit took over. The God of my father stepped in and immediately his sanity was restored! I give glory to God!"---Ekundayo Ekinwa

ENGAGING THE MYSTERY OF FAITH FOR VENGEANCE! - FAITH TABERNACLE, CANAANLAND – SIGNS AND WONDERS TODAY, JUNE 1ST, 2014

ENGAGING THE MYSTERY OF FAITH
FOR VENGEANCE!
BY DAVID O. OYEDEPO
...shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?
I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? (Luke 18:7-8)

In the above scripture, Jesus taught us how to invoke the presence of God for vengeance. We must understand that vengeance is a vital aspect of the mystery of faith. We serve a two-sided God - God is love and He is merciful, but He is also a God of vengeance.

As we conclude our teaching series for the month 'Unveiling the Mystery of Faith’, we shall be examining the subject of vengeance captioned: ‘Engaging the Mystery of Faith for Vengeance.'
We must first understand that at the root of some issues of concern in our lives is a curse. There are some forces somewhere, inflicted from some sources that are responsible for those issues (Proverbs 26:2).
But by redemption, every child of God is ordained to be envied and not to be pitied; ordained to be a blessing and not to be a burden.
As it is written, Ye are the salt of the earth: ......Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Matthew5:13-14

Engaging the Mystery of Faith for Vengeance! - Bishop David O. Oyedepo

That should get us angry enough to engage the violence of faith to invoke vengeance upon all the forces resisting our redemptive rights. We must first recognize that. we are in the days of the vengeance of our God. As we will recall, when Jesus flagged off the former rain from Luke 4:18 - He stopped at: “.....to proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD”. The immediate next statement from scriptural reference of Christ is: “......and the day of vengeance of our God” -Isaiah 61:1-2. This implies that the latter days began with the day of vengeance of our God, which rain started falling from the upper room as it came upon the apostles of Christ -Act 2:1-4/Joel 2:23.
That was when the day of vengeance of our God began, as the event that followed. As the Holy Ghost reacted, Ananias and Sapphira died-Act 5:1-8

Paul the Apostle, also invoked vengeance on Elymas the sorcerer and he went blind; none of such occurred in the ministry of Christ. Vengeance is indeed God's end-time agenda for the last days.

The whole essence of vengeance is to comfort all those that mourn, that is,all that are shattered, battered, afflicted etc. The comfort here means to open their prison doors and let them go free.
For example, until God cleared off Pharaoh and the army of Egypt, Israel could not be free. In the same vein, our comfort is not near until vengeance answers. Therefore, to watch our lives pressed down and sat upon by the wicked, is ignorance.
Back in 1979, I came across a message titled 'The Lord Killeth'. It sounded strange, but at the same time highly liberating. Although, my background in the faith will not take that easily, but that word was fired into my soul like arrows from heaven and I could feel the lion in me come alive. That was when I knew the other side of God.
Remember the Bible says, The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up (1 Samuel 2:6).
We indeed serve a two-sided God. He is not only the saviour, He is also a killer - He bringeth down to the grave and he bringeth up. We need to comprehend this other side of God to triumph in this wicked world.

As it is written;
"And we know that we are of God, and the whale world lieth in wickedness." (1 John 5:19)

Therefore, anything that mocks us is entitled to a curse.
Again, God said to Abram, '...I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee..’ We serve both the 'blesser' God and the 'curser' God. Our God curses. For instance, Jesus also taught us how to invoke vengeance when he cursed the fig tree that mocked Him. He taught the disciples to operate God's kind of faith that curses everything that mocks. (Genesis 12:3; Mark 11:19-21). The Holy Ghost also curses. (Act 13:8-11).

WHAT THEN, IS FAITH?

Faith is a spiritual medium, through which active partnership is established with the invisible God, thereby empowering man to do the impossible. For instance, Moses endured as seeing God, Who is invisible, so he could dare the impossible and that resulted into diverse testimonies (Hebrews 11:24- 27).
Faith establishes our partnership with God so that nothing is able to withstand us. And our partnership with God makes us more than conquerors (Romans 8:37).
Therefore, faith brings us into spiritual partnership with God and that is where the confidence of every faith-filled person lies. Their consciousness of God's partnership becomes so real, that they dare just anything that God will dare.

WHY DO WE NEED VENGEANCE?

- Vengeance is the gateway to our total liberty: Until vengeance answered, the Israelites were not set free (Exodus 12:12,29-30,41-42).
- It is the gateway to our all-round comfort: ...to comfort all that mourn, to give unto them that mourn in Zion beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning and the garment of praise for heaviness that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord that He might be glorified (Isaiah 61:2-3).
- It is the gateway to Supernatural breakthroughs: Supernatural breakthrough follows vengeance. God has given us all things that make for life and godliness, but there are contending forces in the realm of the spirit. When they are destroyed, our breakthrough becomes a natural sequence (Isaiah 61:4-7).
- It is our redemptive right to invoke vengeance: We must understand that the wicked may never give up until the God of vengeance shows up. That is why we must invoke vengeance (Psalm 149 :6-9,Isaiah 63:4).
Remember, until God unleashed His vengeance upon Egypt, Pharaoh never gave up. Until Pharaoh and his army drowned in the Red Sea, the captivity of Israel would have continued. We must not allow any witch bewitching our destiny to survive this year. Therefore today, every of your adversary comes down for you!

HOW, THEN, DO WE PROVOKE THE HAND OF GOD?

By Faith: We engage the mystery of faith to provoke the vengeance of God. For, it is written, Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?( lsaiah 53:1).
It is also written, I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?(Luke 18:8).
That is, Christ is here crying that the faith that provokes vengeance, shall He find it on the earth? Faith is a spiritual mystery that invokes vengeance upon the wicked. Therefore, wake up and deal with your adversary.

WHAT ARE THE WEAPONS OF VENGEANCE?

- Revelation : That is, spiritual understanding of the truth. For the Bible says, Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away (Matthew 24:35).
vengeance is in the Word of God, just as love is in the Word. As we already know, we serve a two-sided God; as believers we must also be ready to operate in same. We have a two-edged sword; one is love and the other is judgment. Putting them to work is what guarantees our triumph in life. Remember God said, I will bless them that bless you and he that curses you, I will curse. That means, there is a time to bless and a time to curse (Genesis 12:3).
- Faith: We saw this in the case of Daniel and the three Hebrew boys Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. They were not only delivered by faith, vengeance answered on their behalf and their enemies were destroyed. Indeed, Faith is a sure weapon of vengeance (Daniel 6:23-24).
- Prayer and Fasting: In the case of Jehoshaphat, God took over the battle and executed vengeance on behalf of His people. Fasting is a spiritual platform for breaking all the bounds of wickedness around our lives, because certain wicked forces may not give up except by prayer and fasting (2 Chronicles 20:3-24; Matthew 17:19-21;1saiah 58:6).
- Bold Speaking: Every time we speak boldly, we commit God's integrity to manifest openly. For instance, David spoke boldly and God gave him the victory openly. In the same vein, we have to speak out boldly for God to step in openly. (Acts 14:3).
- Prophetic Verdicts: The Bible makes us understand that by a prophet the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved (Hosea 12:13).
Remember, Moses said to the children of Israel, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you today: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more for ever ' (Exodus 14:13).
And so it came to pass that Pharaoh and the host of Egypt were all drowned in the Red Sea according to that prophetic verdict.
The same God who sent Moses sent me. Therefore, the adversaries you see today tormenting any aspect of your life, you shall see them no more again forever!  I declare them all drowned in the Red Sea of divine vengeance! Amen and Amen.

Jesus is Lord!

AMAZING TESTIMONIES!

Career Breakthrough!
"In2007, I started my PhD. programme In Covenant University. In 2009, I resumed my labwork and in 2011, I completed the work because God granted me speed. Afterwards, It was as though I would never complete the programme, but the Holy Spirit helped me. He instructed me to sow seeds, which I did. I gave prophetic offerings, served God in the Choir, Children's Church and also in Winners’ Satellite Fellowship (WSF).
This year, the Bishop declared, 'Before the end of the first quarter of 2014, our year of Exceeding Grace, the Lord will decorate us.' The Lord has done it In my life!

Career Breakthough - Omotosho Omolola

I defended my project on April 22, 2014.The work that was said to be unsatisfactory, received an award In Boston, United States of America (USA).
In March 2014, I was recognised as one of the best lecturers In my department. I give all the glory to God. Praise the Lord!"

Career Stagnation Terminated!
I Joined this Commission In 2004. Shortly after my National Youth Service Corp (NYSC), I got a job.The week I got the job, I had a strange dream where I saw a woman who was very angry that I got the job and she vowed that I would never prosper in that job.
Five years later, I realized that my career was under a siege so I trusted God for a breakthrough. This year, I adhered strictly to the instructions issued by the Bishop from this exalted altar.
During the last Miracle Job Banquet Service, the Bishop said that the siege upon our career was broken and that we would reap our miracle job testimonies. l held unto those words and kept declaring them over my life.
The next day, which was a Monday, I received a call from a company that I had earlier applied to and they invited me for a test and an interview that same week. I went for the test and did the interview. Two weeks later, I received an email from the company that I was unsuccessful.
Suddenly,I remembered the words of the Bishop that nothing dies in the hands of a thanksgiver . I read the books: Understanding the Wonders of Praise and Born to Win, both authored by the
Bishop. I engaged in praise warfare, thanking God because I was sure that I would reap my miracle job testimony.
Two weeks ago, the Bishop vehemently said that it was forbidden for anyone in this Commission to be defeated. That same week, I got a call from that company's International head office, apologizing profusely that the mail sent to me earlier was a mistake and that I was indeed successful in the Interview.
On Friday, I received my employment letter and amazingly, I was offered a salary thrice my previous salary, with excellent benefits. I give aII the glory to this God of strange works and strange acts!” –Ivie Omojafoh

Four- Year Missing Brother Returns!
"The last t!me I saw my younger brother was In 2010. He was missing for four years.
Last Sunday, the Bishop repeatedly asked when we wanted God to do what we desired and I kept saying, 'Now!' He further emphasised that whatever we needed, God is able to do it now!
Finally, he prophetically declared: 'That your missing brother, that missing sister, is showing up now'. The following day, which was Monday, my brother showed up. I give God all the glory. Indeed, a prophet is in our midst!" – Emmanuel Sunday

Three-Years Bareness Destroyed!
“I joined this commission in 2005 and got married in 2010. A year after our marriage, we consulted our doctor to know why we had not been able to conceive. After several tests, the doctor said that I had low sperm count. I laughed and rejected the report.
We knew then that it was a fight of faith to be fought. So, we started building our faith and confidence, believing that it is a winnable battle.

Three-Years Bareness Destroyed! - Mr. and Mrs. Peter Okonkwo Chidubem

At Shiloh 2011, the Bishop said that whether no sperm count or low sperm count, our Isaac would be born! We read several materials and attended virtually all the Faith Clinics in 2013.
A couple who had a similar challenge shared their testimony on this altar. That testimony boosted my confidence in first Corinthians 10:13. I also remembered that the Bishop used to say, that if you are in this Church, and you fail, it is your fault.
So, we took three days off to wait on the Lord, and I told myself that I would not disappoint God. That was how three years barrenness was destroyed by trusting in the Lord. Now we have our baby!"--Mr. and Mrs. Peter Okonkwo Chidubem

Rescued from Kidnappers!
" I am a medical doctor working In Alimosho General Hospital. I also run a clinic in my house. On May 2, 2014, I was at the clinic attending to a patient, when someone came in .The nurse tried to tell him to wait for me, thinking he was a patient, but he forced his way in.
Rescued from Kidnappers! - Funso Junad

When I turned to look at him, I realized he had a gun and he ordered me out immediately. When we got outside the house , a car was waiting and immediately I was forced into the car. That was how I was kidnapped from my home.
I was taken into a dark house in an unknown location. As I entered that house, I said, 'Oh God of my father Bishop Oyedepo, manifest yourself!'

One of them asked me, 'Are you a Winner?' said, 'Yes' He then asked if I was a tither and I answered in the affirmative. I was with them for a week and throughout my stay there, they did not hurt me. I was even treated like a king. Before they ate anything, they served me. Miraculously, a week after,God delivered me. I give glory to the God of my father Bishop David Oyedepo!" – Funso Junad

Divine Exemption and Answered Prayers!
" I am a teacher in Thailand. I was travelling from Calabar to Lagos when thieves attacked our bus. My window was opened, while the other windows were closed. The thieves forcefully opened the windows of other passengers in the bus and took their money and telephones. I was fortunate because I am under the Winners' family and I had my Mantle. I was carrying my daughter on my laps, so I just wiped our faces with the mantle. Also, the Winners’ stickers were in my bag. The thieves attacked everybody but I was exempted.

Secondary, I want to thank God for Pastor(Mrs.) Faith Oyedepo, because I used to call her from Thailand for prayers, especially for career breakthrough and healing. Shortly after she prays, I get testimonies. I give God all the glory!” –Awolo Grace

Miracle Baby and Safe Delivery
“ I joined this Commission in2003, while my wife joined In 2009. We got married in 2011. Afterwards, we had our first child, Oreoluwa. After some time,we decided to have a second child. This time around we desired a male child. We believed God and engaged in covenant practices.
Shortly after, my wife got pregnant. But when the pregnancy was three months, the devil struck. One night,at about 03.00a.m., my wife woke me up and I saw that her entire night gown was stained with blood. I just smiled and said, We know better.' We had a similar experience In the seventh month of her pregnancy with our first child.
Then I told her to go into the bathroom and clean up. Then, I said, 'The Bishop told me that it is not the devil that determines when we pray.' Then, I laid my hands on her tummy and said, 'This one will be preserved until the coming of the Lord.' By God's grace, those words boosted her faith. When we went for a scan, the doctor said the baby was very big. I told the doctor that our God is big so He cannot do anything small.
A day to the delivery date, my wife engaged the five smooth stones as instructed by the Bishop. She also placed the mantle on her stomach and she declared that she would give birth on Monday. To the glory of God on March 10, which was a Monday, she was taken to the delivery room and within 45 minutes, she was delivered of our baby boy, without Cesarean Section (CS). He weighed 4.2kg. His names are Oluwajomiloju, Isaac, Olanrewaju Martins! To God alone be all the glory!” – Mr. and Mrs. Martins
